Job summary

The League Kitchen & Tavern in Georgetown is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional guest service and food quality. You will oversee the management team, align with opening hours, and drive cost control and staff retention to deliver a superior dining experience.

The role requires 2+ years in hospitality management, familiarity with Aloha/Toast, strong math and reporting skills, and a team-driven leadership style.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Restaurant Assistant Manager or similar in hospitality.
• Familiarity with restaurant management software such as Aloha/Toast.
• Good math and reporting skills.
• Customer service attitude.
• Communication and team management abilities.
• Availability to work within opening hours (evenings, holidays, weekends).
• High school diploma; hospitality certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee FOH & BOH operations to uphold guest service & food quality standards.
• Manage restaurant management team including assistant managers.

The League Kitchen & Tavern stands as an homage to the 1920’s Prohibition era. A photo of the Anti-Saloon League spans the walls along with pictures of history - old sports photos and historic photos of the founders’ families. The photos and mural enhance the motif of the vintage, speakeasy inspired eatery. RESTAURANT MANAGERS

As one of our restaurant leaders, you will oversee FOH & BOH operations to ensure guest service & food quality standards are upheld at all times.

To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with restaurant operations and have a good understanding of what makes a great customer service. You should also be available to work within opening hours, including weekends and holidays. Ultimately, you will help minimize operating costs, boost our employee retention and deliver a positive dining experience for our guests.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Restaurant Assistant Manager or similar experience in the hospitality industry preferred
• Familiarity with restaurant management software, like Aloha/Toast
• Good math and reporting skills
• Customer service attitude
• Communication and team management abilities
• Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends)
• High school diploma; additional certification in hospitality is a plus

Start at $55k to $60k per year, based on experience.

In this RM role, you will manage restaurant front of house / service teams along with assistant manager roles and duties working as a member of the restaurant management (AM) team.
