OTO Development is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead a high-performing team in a luxury hospitality setting. You will drive the business strategy, oversee operations across floor, bar, and kitchen, and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

This role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and people development skills, with a focus on growth, client relations, and maintaining brand standards in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

Experience in a luxury hotel, restaurant, or bar brand is required.
Diploma/degree in related field or 4 years in a comparable role.
Strong knowledge of food & beverage operations and budgeting.
Proven leadership and guest engagement achievements.
Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a business strategy aligned with the property and brand.
Provide inspirational leadership while supervising team members.
Assist staff on floor, bar, and kitchen during high demand times.
Respond to guest concerns and own feedback to resolution.
Create and execute a events program and manage events from start to finish.
Build relationships with corporate clients and networks to maximize opportunities.
Monitor market trends and introduce new products to drive guest engagement and revenue.
Develop budgets and monitor financial performance to meet goals.
Oversee purchasing, loss prevention, invoicing, and payroll.
Recruit and develop leaders and staff to sustain brand culture.

We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead a great team in a fun environment with excellent benefits, strong support, and opportunities for growth.

We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Restaurant Manager.

What will you be doing most days?

Develop, communicate, and implement a business strategy that is aligned with the property and brand, then lead in its execution
Provide inspirational leadership while supervising and managing team members during day-to-day operations
Assist team members on the floor, behind the bar, and in the kitchen during high demand times, demonstrating functional expertise, and ensuring staffing levels are appropriate to meet business demands
Respond quickly and proactively to guest’s concerns and take ownership of guest feedback until they are addressed and resolved
Create and execute an exciting events program and effectively manage the events from start to finish. This includes effective communication on key social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest
Build and develop lasting relationships with corporate clients and social and industry networks that maximize business development opportunities
Stay informed of market trends and introduce new products and services to drive guest engagement, increase revenue, and ensure a competitive position in the market
Develop the budget and monitor financial performance to ensure goals are met or exceeded. Ensure all opportunities are identified and addressed
Oversee the financial aspects of the restaurant including purchasing, prevention & loss, invoice processing, and payroll
Recruit and select talented leaders and team members who will enhance the brand’s culture and provide opportunities for growth and development to retain staff

What are the requirements for this position?

You have prior experience in a luxury hotel, restaurant, or bar brand
You have a post-secondary diploma or degree in a field of study related to this profession or 4 years of experience in a comparable position and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
You have detailed knowledge of food and beverage operations with track record of strong leadership and strategic planning skills and proven achievements in optimizing guest and team member engagement
You possess strong interpersonal relations and leadership abilities
You have a strong understanding of food & beverage operations, as well as, financials and budgeting systems with a clear understanding of cost controls and driving topline revenue
You have a professional business appearance and demeanor aligned with our brand and culture
You have excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills and the flexibility to meet the demands of a 7 day a week operation
You demonstrate a passion for people with a strong network of contacts within the local events and restaurant/bar industry

Physical Requirements For This Position

This can be a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.

Travel Requirements

This may require around 20% of travel time.
