Base pay range

Our Front of House Managers are crucial to our daily operations. You’ll support the General Manager in planning, organizing, and training to meet restaurant goals. Responsibilities include overseeing sales, labor and food costs, hiring and retention, guest service, food quality, and sanitation.

Each PJ Whelihan’s has a unique feel, but all are neighborhood spots delivering great guest experiences. Features include a large TV package for sports, a wide selection of beers on tap including PJW Copper Lager, and famous wings that have built a loyal community.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure guests feel welcome with friendly, courteous service.
• Support staff and check-in with guests to ensure standards are met.
• Achieve sales, service, quality, and cleanliness goals through staff training and positive environment.
• Manage cash and receipts according to policies.
• Assist in employment decisions with the General Manager.
• Fill in as needed to ensure smooth operations and service standards.
• Develop staff in service, food presentation, safety, and sanitation.
• Complete reports, forms, and schedules promptly.
• Provide performance feedback and coaching.
• Support marketing and promotional activities.
• Enforce policies and administer corrective actions fairly.
• Schedule staff to meet business needs and labor goals.
• Comply with health, safety, and labor regulations.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year supervisory experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
• ServSafe Certification required.
• Ability to lead, analyze P&L, and work within a budget.
• Effective communication skills and a friendly attitude.
• Proactive, quick learner, able to manage multiple priorities.
• Basic computer skills, including POS and scheduling systems.
