Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is hiring a Restaurant Manager to oversee daily dining room and restaurant operations, ensuring residents and guests enjoy a superior dining experience. The role works with other department managers and requires presence on the floor during meal service to enforce service standards.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three years of progressive restaurant or related experience in healthcare, catering, or hospitality

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Restaurant Manager position.

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and supervising the daily operations of the dining rooms and restaurants to ensure staff provide residents and guests with a pleasant dining experience. Works in conjunction with other department managers. Enforces all policies including, but not limited to employee appearance, attendance and punctuality, service standards, and completion of job duties. Holds regular department meetings and drives employee engagement and retention. This position requires the manager to be on the floor during meal service.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of three years' progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment

Pay Range

$58,350.00 - $74,463.00 / year. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
