Job Summary: As a F&B Manager, you will manage a team and a range of concepts and venues covering more than 10,000 sq ft of public space, 20,000 sq ft of meeting and event space, adjacent to nearly 500 guest rooms in a fun, casual, fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Practice OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
- Provide genuine, warm service to all our guests throughout their dining experience, from greeting patrons and serving tables to suggesting and delivering dishes, drinks, and new menu items, maintaining a welcoming environment.
- Attend to guests’ requests efficiently and promptly.
- Support all Team Members in the efficient and consistent delivery of daily performance.
- Establish and maintain high standards of service.
- Set standards for cleanliness and ongoing maintenance of dining rooms and public spaces.
- Establish and maintain 'pars' for various operating supplies.
- Manage all Team Members' completion of daily opening, ongoing, and closing side work responsibilities.
- Inventory, print, update, and maintain menus and guest touchpoints.
- Maintain various cash handling responsibilities.
- Conduct product inventory procedures.
- Assist with invoice coding and accounting procedures.
- Manage schedules, including in-times, out-times, and breaks, covering breaks as needed.
- Stay knowledgeable about current menu choices, specialties, or deviations.
- Facilitate and coordinate special events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in restaurant management.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to train, direct, supervise, and hold staff accountable.
- Leadership skills, including motivating, inspiring, and goal setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective time management and organization skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic cooking knowledge.
- Barista experience.
- Bartending experience.
- Experience with basic Microsoft Office applications.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch for the duration of an eight-hour shift.
- Ability to lift, move, or push up to 25 pounds without assistance.
