Job summary

Atkinson Resort & Country Club in Atkinson, NH, part of Troon, is seeking a Full-Time Restaurant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations in a fast-paced hospitality setting. You will oversee guest service, training, budgeting, inventory, and compliance, while ensuring food quality and safety, staff development, and reliable attendance.

Requirements include an Associate degree or 6 months to 1 year related experience, and compliance with alcoholic beverage laws.

Qualifications

• AA or 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and conducts pre-shift meetings to review specials, menu changes, house counts, etc.
• Ensures restaurant and facilities are clean, stocked, and organized; schedules maintenance and repair.
• Monitors food quality and service standards throughout restaurant areas.
• Greets guests at tables to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Ensures cash handling procedures are followed for accurate charges.
• Creates revenue forecasts and reports; monitors restaurant budget.
• Oversees daily restaurant activities including serving, bussing, seating, room service, and clerical duties.
• Participates in interviewing, hiring, training, planning, directing, evaluating performance, and addressing issues.
• Manages staff that may include Supervisors, Host, Server, Cashier; ensures orientation and ongoing training.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

Atkinson Resort & Country Club, located in Atkinson, NH, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Restaurant Manager!We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation: $75,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Organizes and conducts pre-shift meetings to review specials, menu changes, house counts, etc.
• Ensures that the restaurant and restaurant facilities are kept clean, well-stocked and organized. Checks the maintenance of all equipment in the restaurant and schedules needed maintenance and repair.
• Circulates throughout the restaurant facilities and kitchen areas to visually monitor and take action to ensure food quality and service standards are met.
• Greets guests at tables to ensure complete customer satisfaction attention to guest needs.
• Ensures established cash handling procedures are utilized to accurately charge customers.
• Creates revenue forecasts and reports. Monitors restaurant budget.
• Oversees daily restaurant activities to include serving tables, bussing tables, seating guests, room service and general clerical/cashier duties.
• Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Manages department members that may include but is not limited to: Food and Beverage Supervisor, Host, Server, Cashier.
• Assures that effective orientation and training are given to each new associate. Develops ongoing training programs and tests for comprehension.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

Associate’s degree (AA); or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Other Qualifications:

• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Alcohol Awareness Training, Food Safety and appropriate sanitation training.
