Job summary

Jimmy John's is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) to begin our Management Development Program. The MIT role is short-term (not to exceed 90 days) and includes both work assignments and training to prepare for promotion to Assistant Manager.

The MIT will learn all restaurant functions to ensure fast, accurate sandwiches, world-class customer service, and profitability when the General Manager is not on duty.

Qualifications

• Experience in the quick service restaurant industry.
• ServSafe certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties of Inshoppers and drivers.
• Manage a staff of approximately 3 to 50 employees; oversee, evaluate, and make hiring decisions based on performance.
• Provide on-the-job training for new employees.
• Oversee ordering, receipt, storage and issuing of all supplies to minimize loss.
• Supervise food preparation and service during shifts; assist during rush periods.
• Greet customers, take orders, ring up sales, assemble orders, and ensure accuracy.
