Job summary

Donatos Pizza seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, develop people, drive sales, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The AGM acts as the GM in their absence and focuses on coaching Managers and Associates to work as a high-performing team.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, enforcing food safety, controlling costs, and delivering the Donatos Mission & Promise. Flexibility to work openings, mid and closing shifts, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including openings, mid and closing shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Experience in a similar role preferred (1 year)
• Ability to perform essential functions safely and meet productivity standards
• Able to stand/walk for entire shift and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Responsibilities

• Empowers associates to resolve customer concerns to satisfaction.
• Manages people, product and equipment to deliver the Mission & Promise.
• Coach and lead hourly associates to exceed standards.
• Anticipates customer needs and removes service barriers.
• Ensures staffing levels are optimal during volume periods and controls labor costs.
• Ensures delivery drivers comply with state laws and insurance requirements.
• Trains and enforces cash control procedures and secure deposits.
• Maintains inventory and ensures timely vendor orders and invoicing.
• Opens and/or closes the restaurant with proper administrative procedures.
