Job summary

Juliet Austin is seeking a Hostperson to warmly greet guests, manage reservations, seat guests, and maintain an organized seating chart. You will work closely with servers to ensure smooth operations and communicate wait times to guests.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests on arrival.
• Open the front door when possible.
• Manage reservations and walk-ins to seat guests.
• Maintain seating chart and stagger seating as needed.
• Work closely with servers to ensure smooth operations.
• Record guest names and party sizes when seating is limited.
• Politely find guests when a table becomes available.
• Provide guests with estimated waiting times.
• Accommodate special seating requests whenever possible.
• Seat guests based on preferences and balance customer flow.
• Offer menus, place settings, and inform guests of their server's name.
• Inspect tables for proper presentation and completeness.
• Relay messages or hand off chits to servers and buspersons as needed.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
