Responsibilities

• Manage reservations, wait lists, and seating assignments.
• Escort guests to tables and present menus.
• Communicate wait times accurately and courteously.
• Coordinate with servers and management to ensure efficient table turnover.
• Answer guest questions regarding menus, specials, and restaurant policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
• Assist with guest concerns and elevate issues to management as needed.
• Follow all casino, tribal, and departmental policies and procedures.
• Adhere to guest service standards and promote a positive dining experience.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Provide inclusive, respectful service to guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Represent the casino in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Description

The Restaurant Host is the first point of contact for guests dining at the casino’s restaurant. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming and respectful atmosphere, managing guest seating efficiently, and supporting smooth restaurant operations while upholding the values, culture, and hospitality standards of a TribalCasino.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally

Schedule & Availability

• Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must comply with casino gaming commission and tribal employment requirements

Education and Experience
