Job summary

The Point Casino and Hotel is seeking a Full-Time Restaurant Host to join our fast-paced dining team in a casino setting. You will be the first and sometimes last impression for guests, presenting menus, answering questions, and guiding dining experiences with friendly, attentive service.

Ideal candidates have strong communication and multitasking abilities, prior F&B or casino experience, and a team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to obtain a Class II Gaming License through the Tribal Gaming Agency.
• Washington State Food Handler's Permit within 30 days of employment.
• Class 12 or 13 Alcohol Server Permit within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and present menus, answer questions, and suggest items.
• Keep menus clean and organized.
• Monitor diners and respond to requests; manage flow of the dining room.
• Assist F&B team to maintain clean, organized, and ready dining areas.

What You'll Do

As a Restaurant Host, you'll play a key role as the first and sometimes last impression for our guests while eating with us at our venues! You will help us create memorable dining experiences by:

• Presenting menus, answering guest questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service.
• Keeps menus clean and organized.
• Observe diners to respond to any additional requests and determine when their meal has been completed.
• Support F&B Team Members to keep the dining areas clean, organized, replenished and ready for service.

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Previous experience within the Food & Beverage Industry at a Casino and/or Hotel.
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
• The ability to accurately remember or record orders
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset
• Basic familiarity with POS or restaurant billing systems (preferred)
• Washington State Food Handler's Permit (must be obtained within 30 days of employment).
• Class 12 or 13 Alcohol Server Permit (must be obtained within 30 days of employment).

Required Qualifications:
