Job summary

Nemacolin Woodlands Resort's The Peak is seeking a friendly, energetic host to be the first point of contact for guests and members. You set the tone with a welcoming presence, manage reservations, seating, and floor flow, and coordinate with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to keep service smooth and seamless.

You should be organized, able to multitask, and perform basic math as needed. Fluency in English, a high school diploma or equivalent, and hospitality or restaurant experience are

  • Manage reservations, seating charts, and floor flow for efficiency.
  • Communicate guest preferences and celebrations to service staff.
  • Coordinate with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
  • Assist with general guest services and uphold a high-energy, welcoming environment.

You set the energy and elevate the welcome inside one of Nemacolin’s most vibrant, year-round dining and experience venues. At The Peak, you set the tone as the first point of contact in a lively, high-energy atmosphere serving guests and members. Your presence defines excitement, warmth, and seamless organization from the moment guests and members arrive, while balancing personality with precision and ensuring that floor flow, reservations, celebrations, and service pacing work in harmony.

What You Will Create
  • An upbeat, confident, and welcoming first impression at the entrance
  • Accurate floor plans, seating charts, and rotation systems that support operational efficiency
  • Fair and strategic table distribution to optimize service performance
  • Clear communication with serving staff regarding guest and member preferences and special occasions
  • Recognition of birthdays, anniversaries, and celebrations to enhance memorable experiences
  • Professional and cordial reservation management via phone, online, and in-person interactions
  • Knowledgeable guidance regarding menus across food and beverage outlets
  • Seamless collaboration with front-of-house and back-of-house teams
  • Balanced prioritization of guest and member requests and server workflow
  • A poised and positive demeanor during high-volume service periods
  • Support of additional responsibilities as assigned
