Job summary

Nemacolin in Pennsylvania is seeking a Front Desk Associate to shape guest arrivals and departures with polished hospitality. You will be a trusted resource, greeting guests, verifying information, and coordinating across the resort to ensure a seamless first and last impression.

What You Will Create
  • A welcoming sense of arrival by engaging each guest with genuine warmth, offering champagne, and creating a polished first impression that establishes confidence in the experience ahead
  • Effortless guest journeys from arrival through departure by managing arrival and departure procedures, verifying guest information and payment details, and maintaining accurate accounts while ensuring efficiency never comes at the expense of personalized service.
  • Confident, informed guest experiences by drawing on thorough knowledge of accommodations, dining, recreation, events, daily programming, operating hours, and surrounding attractions to provide thoughtful recommendations and relevant guidance
  • Personalized service that anticipates what guests need next by recognizing preferences, special occasions, VIP considerations, repeat visits, and emerging requests, then connecting guests with the appropriate resort experiences and resources
  • Seamless coordination across the resort through close collaboration with Housekeeping, Butler Services, Concierge, Reservations, Recreation, Food & Beverage, Transportation, and other departments to ensure requests are communicated clearly and carried through to completion
  • Accurate and thoughtful stewardship of guest information through careful management of profiles, preferences, notes, requests, room changes, extensions, charges, payments, and other account details within the property management system
  • Confidence during moments that matter most by responding to questions, concerns, and service recovery opportunities with empathy, sound judgment, and professionalism, while knowing when to escalation an issue appropriately
  • Continuity of service across every shift by communicating relevant guest information, outstanding requests, and service considerations clearly so the next associate can carry the experience forward without missing a detail
  • A polished and secure front desk environment by maintaining an organized lobby presence, protecting guest privacy and confidentiality, following cash-handling and security protocols, and remaining composed and service-focused during periods of high-volume arrivals and departures

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; must be at least 18 years of age
  • Previous guest- or customer-facing experience required; hospitality experience preferred
  • Computer literacy and the ability to learn and effectively use property management and other resort systems
  • Fluency in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • General knowledge of the surrounding area and local attractions, or the curiosity and ability to develop that knowledge
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure, accuracy, and service standards
  • Ability to stand for up to eight hours at a time and perform the physical requirements of the role
  • Availability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
