Whether you are beginning your hospitality career or bringing previous restaurant experience, this role offers the opportunity to develop your service expertise, learn the standards of luxury dining, and build the skills that can lead to greater responsibility alongside Nemacolin’s four- and five-star restaurant teams.

What You Will Create
  • A seamless rhythm of service by supporting servers throughout the guest experience, anticipating needs, and ensuring water, bread, table settings, and other service details are delivered with care and attention to timing
  • A dining experience that feels effortless to the guest through genuine interaction, polished service, professional presence, and a thorough understanding of the standards, service language, and expectations associated with luxury hospitality
  • An environment that is consistently ready for exceptional service by preparing workstations, completing side work, folding napkins, maintaining service areas, and keeping dining rooms and other guest-facing spaces clean, organized, and presentation-ready throughout the shift
  • Confidence in the details behind the experience by developing working knowledge of food, beverage, cocktails, beer, wine, and allergens, allowing you to support guests and the service team with greater awareness and professionalism
  • A stronger, more connected service team by stepping in to support servers, food runners, hosts, and other associates as needed, communicating effectively, and helping the entire operation maintain its rhythm during high-volume periods

  • A safe and well-maintained dining environment by recognizing and promptly reporting hazardous conditions, following health and safety practices, and maintaining the standards required for responsible alcohol service, including obtaining and maintaining RAMP certification as required
  • A foundation for continued growth in hospitality by developing the judgment, service awareness, menu knowledge, communication skills, and operational discipline that can prepare you for expanded responsibilities and future opportunities within Nemacolin’s dining operations
What You Can Expect
  • A guest-facing role at the heart of Nemacolin’s dining experiences, with opportunities to work in a variety of restaurant environments based on resort operational needs
  • A fast-paced, collaborative setting where timing, teamwork, attentiveness, and consistency shape the guest experience
  • The opportunity to learn directly alongside experienced servers and dining professionals while developing the habits and standards of luxury hospitality
  • Exposure to a broad range of food and beverage experiences, service styles, menus, and guest expectations across the resort
  • A physically active role requiring extended periods of standing and frequent movement throughout service, including the ability to lift at least 15 pounds
  • A schedule that includes varying shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays in support of guest demand and dining operations
  • A clear opportunity to build hospitality expertise and pursue greater responsibility, including potential growth toward service roles within Nemacolin’s four- and five-star restaurant teams
What You Bring
  • A naturally warm, outgoing presence and a genuine interest in creating positive experiences
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work respectfully and confidently alongside guests, members, and colleagues
  • A team-first mindset and willingness to step into whatever the operation needs
  • Organization, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities without losing sight of the guest experience
  • Composure and good judgment in a high-volume environment where priorities can change quickly
  • Professionalism and an appreciation for the role that personal presentation, timing, language, and attentiveness play in luxury dining
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn, particularly around food, beverage, service standards, and the nuances of elevated hospitality
  • The energy, reliability, and initiative to contribute meaningfully to the success of the team
Qualifications
