Job summary

Penn Station Sandwiches is seeking a General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations with an ownership mindset. This role offers a base salary plus a monthly share of profits with no cap, recognizing your role in driving performance and guest satisfaction.

You will hire and train staff, supervise operations, organize weekly labor schedules, control costs, and ensure compliance with health standards while delivering professional customer service and maintaining store cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Working knowledge of back office computer systems.
• Must be 18 years or older and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Manages employees and operations of the store including hiring/firing and scheduling.
• Ensures compliance with Health Department Guidelines and operating parameters.
• Submits necessary paperwork and reports monthly for the restaurant and employees.
• Maintains stock by placing weekly inventory orders.
• Delivers deposits to the bank on behalf of the restaurant.
• Provides professional customer service and addresses all customer complaints.
• Supervises crew members, crew leaders and Assistant Managers.
• Opens and closes the store effectively.
• Adheres to all policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and training programs.
• Creates and maintains team schedules.
