Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Open availability and ability to work flexible hours and all shifts as needed.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly with a can-do attitude.
• Good hygiene and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Controls cost categories (food, labor, cash, expenses) per guidelines and budget.
• Drives sales growth by improving service speed and food quality.
• Maintains adequate staffing levels for all shifts.
• Prepares and conducts performance appraisals for crew and managers.
• Leads hiring of crew, shift leaders, and assistant managers.
• Coaches and trains team to meet certifications and performance levels.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with regulations.
• Ensures compliance with laws governing employment.
• Ensures safe environment for staff and guests; initiates repairs as needed.
• Provides feedback to area coach on operating results.
• Manages turnover through effective selection and training.
• Prepares food as needed and handles cash register when required.
