Job summary

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead staff in a high-volume kitchen and dining area.

You will drive sales, ensure food safety, manage operations, and execute strategies to enhance customer satisfaction. You will develop team members, monitor P&L, guide daily reporting, and partner with leadership to maintain safety, efficiency, and quality service across shifts.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Intermediate computer skills: Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation
• Assist the General Manager with task execution, safety practices, scheduling, cash integrity, talent acquisition and development, and reporting
• Coach and develop team in preparing and packaging customer orders to maximize service
• Understand financial reporting including profit and loss statements to drive business changes
• Address customer feedback and improve the overall dining experience
