Job summary

Einstein Bros Bagels in Rochester Hills, Michigan is seeking a General Manager to lead restaurant performance, guest experience, and team development. You will own the P&L, drive profitability, and coach a high‑performing team in a fast‑paced bakery environment.

The role requires hands‑on leadership to ensure brand standards, labor control, inventory accuracy, and exceptional guest service during peak hours.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
3+ years of customer service experience, with at least 1 year of management experience.
Experience managing restaurant operations, including financials, labor, and inventory.
Strong understanding of P&L management and cost control.
Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop team members.
Strong organizational, time management, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work varied hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Own overall restaurant performance across sales, people, operations, and controllable profit.
Manage the restaurant P&L, including revenue, labor, food cost, and controllable expenses, leveraging reporting tools.
Develop and execute plans to achieve sales goals, manage costs, and drive profitability.
Monitor performance trends and address gaps to improve results.
Lead scheduling, payroll, hiring, and employee relations in partnership with field leadership.
