Job summary

marcjaxllc in Elkins, WV is seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead our Wendy's location. This role offers real growth potential within a growing restaurant group that operates multiple national brands.

You will own day-to-day operations, recruit and develop a strong team, drive sales while upholding brand standards, and manage P&L. The position requires 2+ years in GM or senior management in QSR, plus ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of General Manager or senior management experience in quick-service or fast-casual restaurants (QSR experience strongly preferred)
• Proven track record of hitting sales, labor, and profitability targets
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to recruit, coach, and retain a hard-working team
• ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including staffing, scheduling, inventory, and cost controls
• Recruit, train, and develop a team of assistant managers, shift leads, and crew members
• Drive sales performance while maintaining Wendy's brand standards for food quality, cleanliness, and guest service
• Manage P&L responsibilities including labor cost, food cost, and controllable expenses
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, health, and safety regulations
• Build a positive, people-first culture that keeps employees engaged and guests coming back
