Job summary

Texas Roadhouse, Inc. is seeking a legendary Managing Partner (General Manager) to oversee all facets of operations, ensuring Legendary Food and Legendary Service at all times. You will lead the management team, control costs, and drive profitability in a high-volume, full-service restaurant environment.

Requires 2+ years as a GM/MP in a similar concept, excellent communication, and the ability to manage stress. A deposit and employment agreement with Texas Roadhouse are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years or more as a GM, MP, or Multi-Unit manager in a full-service concept.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to problem solve and handle stress in a high-volume environment.
• Managing Partners are required to make an initial monetary deposit and enter into an employment agreement.

Responsibilities

• Enforce compliance with all employment policies with help from the management team.
• Direct the management team schedules and assign areas of responsibility.
• Manage performance through directionals, evaluations, coaching, and discipline.
• Review applications, interview, and hire management and hourly staff.
• Oversee food, labor, and liquor costs.
• Ensure liquor law compliance and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines.
• Manage food costs, waste, and labor costs.
• Oversee weekly and monthly P&L statements.
• Plan, prepare, and oversee inventories and budgets weekly, monthly, yearly.
• Verify audits and training standards are maintained.
• Oversee restaurant cleanliness and safety measures.
• Enforce security measures to protect employees and guests.
• Oversee incentive programs for staff and management.
• Develop key employees and managers through training.
• Understand and practice safe food handling procedures.
• Act as liaison with store vendors and support center contacts.
• Maintain restaurant culture and core values: passion, integrity, partnership, fun with purpose.
