Job summary

Dairy Queen in Graham, TX is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee all aspects of daily operations, including financial performance, product production, inventory, and personnel. You will implement the location's game plan with the DM and ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining high service standards.

You'll lead staffing, training, and performance reviews, manage schedules for peak hours, and control costs in COGS and labor.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of restaurant management experience preferred, QSR experience strongly preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven track record in management of COGS and labor.
• Must have excellent customer service and employee relations skills.
• Must be detail oriented with the capability to oversee all aspects of the business and multiple areas simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to perform under pressure in a high volume restaurant, including moving and responding quickly for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work in and out of different temperature ranges.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversees entire restaurant operations, including financial performance, product production, inventory, personnel, sales, and marketing.
• Ensures restaurant operates within guidelines established by owner and franchisor.
• Develops and achieves the restaurant's game plan with their DM.
• Ensures guest service meets company standards.
• Responds to customer complaints and resolves issues.
• Works with local chamber and schools to increase sales.
• Staffs, trains and develops assistant managers and hourly employees; conducts performance reviews.
• Manages schedules and ensures proper staffing for all day parts and sales volumes.
• Manages restaurant P&L to optimize profit; controls COGS, labor, and controllables.
• Manages the entire operation through staff development to meet location game plan goals.
• Ensures compliance with company standards, policies and procedures.
• Contributes to guest satisfaction through quality, value, service and cleanliness.
• Maintains positive working relationships to maximize morale and productivity.
