Job summary

Jimmy John’s Franchise in Fate, TX is seeking a Certified General Manager responsible for full accountability of store operations and drive for results. The GM will oversee staff, scheduling, training, inventory, and customer service to ensure profitability and compliance with brand standards.

The role requires managing a team across shifts, creating a positive work environment, and driving P&L performance while maintaining high service levels.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older and able to work 40+ hour weeks.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as Adobe-Acrobat.
• Ability to handle fast-paced and high-stress situations in the store.
• Organize and establish priorities in the store with minimal supervision.
• Able to provide feedback and recommendations on store and employee performance.

Responsibilities

• Manages a staff of approximately 3 to 50 employees, in excess of 50 hours of labor each week.
• Assigns, oversees and evaluates work, including schedule management and ensuring the store is staffed. Recommends promotion, transfer, or termination of employees based on performance.
• Provides on-the-job training for new and existing employees.
• Delegates and is responsible for the ordering, receipt, storage and issuing of all food, labor, equipment, cleaning, and paper supplies for the unit to ensure a minimum loss from waste or theft.
• Supervises preparation, sales, and service of food.
• Forecasts food items. Estimates what amount of each food item will be consumed per shift to avoid customer threats and set the following shift up for success.
• Ensures that every customer receives world-class customer service.
• Routes deliveries and serves drivers to maximize delivery business and speed within the four walls of the restaurant.
