Zax LLC is seeking a General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations at our Durham, NC location. You will guide a team, drive staffing and development, manage costs, and ensure top-notch guest experiences while upholding brand standards and safety guidelines.

The role emphasizes building a positive culture, achieving sales growth, and maintaining profitability through strategic leadership and meticulous operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
• Open availability and the ability to work a minimum of 5 days and 48 hours per week
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Successful completion of background check and motor vehicle report
• Must possess leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others
• Required minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent and some college preferred
• 3-5 years management experience required
• Restaurant management experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and leadership to create a positive culture and high morale
• Manage daily operations focusing on staffing, development, sales growth, and cost control
• Plan and delegate shift assignments to drive sales and control labor costs
• Ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are upheld
• Achieve profitability by driving sales and managing costs
• Review performance and conduct performance reviews
• Maintain compliance with policies, laws, and company guidelines
• Build community relationships to increase sales
• Handle guest and team member complaints timely and respectfully
