Job summary

Hoogland Restaurant Group, the premier Marco’s Pizza franchise owner in the US, seeks a General Manager to lead and develop people, ensuring top product quality and customer service while driving sales and controlling costs. We are excited to add a dynamic leader who can relocate to support our expanding footprint.

You will manage operations, partner with the home office, and influence store performance across locations with a strong focus on team development and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3 years of leadership experience required.
• 1 year restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to lead up to 20 team members.
• Willing to work about 50 hours per week including some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop people to execute outstanding product quality and customer service.
• Build sales and control costs for the restaurant.
• Ensure standards for product quality, service speed and sanitation.
• Plan and coordinate leadership team meetings with Assistant Manager and Shift Leads.

As the General Manager, you will lead and develop people to execute outstanding product quality and customer service, build sales and control costs for the restaurant. We are thrilled to bring aboard an individual that is both willing and eager to relocate as a key component and driving force in our successful expansion.

People

What you will bring to the role:

• Demonstrate and reinforce Marco's leadership behaviors and values.
• Create an environment that promotes the company culture and philosophies to attract, retain and develop our people.
• Source and interview all store employees to ensure they will embrace our values, including a strong dedication to customer satisfaction.
• Training team members on company processes, customer service, and updated policies and procedures to ensure we are a world class operation.
• Ensure all aspects of human resources are followed including scheduling, payroll, benefits, performance reviews and reporting to the home office as requested.
• Plan and coordinate leadership team meetings with Assistant Manager, Shift Leads, and Manager in Training.

Product

• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure appropriate inventory par levels and ordering system are in place.
• Complete weekly inventory.
• Complete end of period inventory.

Management

• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Complete inventory reporting, ensure appropriate inventory par levels are met and ordering system is in place.
• Accountable for creating store Action Plans including marketing to continuously improve the business.
• Accountable for weekly KPIs and plan to achieve goals
• Ensure the store and exterior of the property are maintained.
• Ensure proper security and verification procedures are met when handling deposits and the contents of the safe.

Requirements

• 3 years of leadership experience, required
• 1 year of restaurant experience, preferred
• Ability to lead up to 20 team members
• Willing to work about 50 hours per week including some Saturdays and Sundays
