Job summary

Dairy Queen in Minnesota seeks a General Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales, and ensure the highest standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. You will set the tone for a customer-focused team and align with brand values.

You will recruit, train, and motivate a Smile Server team, oversee staffing, scheduling, inventory, and budgets, and ensure compliance with safety policies. This is a salaried position with a 50-hour week, with flexibility as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a restaurant general manager or similar leadership role.
• Experience managing profit & loss (P&L), inventory, labor and scheduling.
• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Background check and motor vehicle record check required.
• Food Handler’s Permit and/or ServSafe Certification (where required).
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations to ensure compliance with policies, standards, and laws.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, develop, and retain a top-performing team of Smile Servers.
• Maximize sales and profitability through consistent systems and processes for quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, inventory, and budget adherence to meet store goals.
