Overview

The General Manager is responsible for the daily oversight of the Restaurant and staff. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with policies, providing excellent guest service, monitoring food presentation and quality, leading staff positively, and managing the outlet’s P&L. The GM’s leadership and collaboration with culinary and service staff are key to our success.

Responsibilities
  • Build strong partnerships with culinary and front-of-house staff to ensure exceptional guest service and food quality
  • Maintain open communication and foster team spirit
  • Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and cleanliness standards
  • Supervise guest service training for team members
  • Manage quality control of service and food & alcohol orders
  • Respond to guest trends, needs, and comments
  • Develop marketing strategies to increase visitation, loyalty, and VIP events
  • Enhance venue awareness through social media
  • Plan and execute ethnic Asian Holiday events
  • Maintain the physical appearance and FFE of the outlet
  • Ensure compliance with food, alcohol, and gaming regulations
  • Coordinate inventory with culinary and purchasing teams
  • Control labor, food, and beverage costs
  • Continuously improve processes to enhance Asian guest amenities and support gaming and retail areas
Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to analyze operational results and solve complex problems
  • Knowledge of sanitation laws, health regulations, and OSHA standards
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid gaming license and alcohol awareness certification
  • Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience with budgeting, P&L review, and variance analysis
  • High school diploma required; 4-year degree preferred
  • 5-7 years restaurant management experience
  • Physical ability to work long hours, stand for extended periods, and lift objects up to 50 pounds
