Basic Function

To ensure the orderly and efficient functioning of the assigned restaurant by adhering to the philosophy of quality, service, cleanliness, and hospitality (CHAMPS) and the Taco Bell (LAST) system.

Job Specifications
  • High school education or equivalent is required.
  • Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of restaurant management and prior food service experience.
  • Must possess a valid Drive License.
  • Access to a vehicle for periodic travel on Company Business.
  • Current liability insurance in your name.
  • Own a home or cellular telephone; if not, acquire one within three weeks of starting.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills to direct employees and work with customers.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail, cope with pressure, and remain calm in stressful situations.
General Responsibilities
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide excellence in quality, service, cleanliness, and hospitality.
  • Create and maintain a positive and cooperative atmosphere among employees and customers.
  • Enforce all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
Job Training

Typically, one to two years to gain full job knowledge. Performed under general supervision, involving continuous customer and employee contact.

Decision-Making Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including hiring, counseling, training employees, and ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and safety programs.

Working Conditions

Work area temperature may be extreme; noise level may be high at times.

Consequence of Errors

Dissatisfaction among customers and employees, potential loss of revenue.

Key Activities
  • Assist with budget decisions and implementation.
  • Ensure adequate staffing.
  • Follow procedures for inventory control.
  • Provide employee training emphasizing CHAMPS and the Taco Bell LAST system.
  • Conduct employee performance reviews and counseling.
  • Work as a team to ensure consistent customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare customer orders quickly and with high quality.
  • Prioritize workload: serve customers first, then maintain dining and work areas.
  • Operate all kitchen equipment.
  • Communicate courteously with customers.
  • Report equipment or facility repairs to Maintenance.
