Job summary

Nbutexas in New Orleans is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to oversee daily operations, build a high-performing team, and elevate the guest experience in an upscale, high-energy setting.

You will lead service standards, mentor managers, manage budgets and scheduling, ensure financial performance, and reinforce the restaurant’s culture and local community connection.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of management experience in upscale or elevated dining.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver consistently high service standards.
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Comfortable working with restaurant technology, financial reporting, and operational systems.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accountability.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day restaurant activities while ensuring efficient and profitable performance.
• Champion service standards and product quality while maintaining extensive menu knowledge.
• Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams, including marketing, HR, and sales.
• Hire, coach, develop, and motivate a strong management and service team.
• Oversee financial performance, budgeting, reconciliations, labor, and administrative functions.
• Implement company standards while reinforcing the restaurant’s culture, values, and connection to the local community.
