POSITION SUMMARY:

The perfect Restaurant General Manager at Qdoba is a confident decision-maker with proven experience in guest/customer service, employee management, business and financial management, and people motivation. He or she is an excellent communicator—both in writing and verbally. Responsibilities include:

• Fostering a high employee retention culture and ensuring full staffing
• Managing and developing crew members to encourage growth and reduce turnover
• Interviewing and hiring team members
• Training staff passionately to empower and unlock their potential
• Training, monitoring, and reinforcing food safety procedures
• Building sales through delicious food, hospitality, and cleanliness
• Maintaining fast, accurate service and excellent customer service

• Maximizing store sales versus budget, including marketing participation

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Age: 18 years old to comply with laws.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: 5+ years in QSR, with 2+ years in leadership roles.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Excellent prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Strong verbal and written communication. Highly motivated, organized, and ethical. Able to work in a fast-paced environment, recruiting, coaching, and motivating staff. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 10-50 lbs, communicate clearly, and operate a computer.
