Qualifications

• Previous restaurant leadership experience within a Forbes-rated luxury hotel required.
• Resort experience strongly preferred.
• Proven success leading an upscale, fine-dining, or high-touch restaurant operation.
• Strong understanding of Forbes service standards and luxury guest expectations.
• Exceptional guest-relations and service-recovery skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete front-of-house operation, with responsibility for service execution, team development, guest satisfaction, financial performance, and the continued elevation of the restaurant experience.
• Lead daily restaurant operations while delivering Forbes-level service standards and maintain a highly visible floor presence.
• Create a personalized guest experience that is polished, intuitive, and welcoming.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing front-of-house team and manage scheduling and costs.

Job description

SkyBridge Luxury & Associates is partnering with a nationally recognized luxury resort destination in Georgia to identify an accomplished Restaurant General Manager for a signature dining concept.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a polished hospitality leader to take ownership of a high-profile restaurant where Forbes-level service, genuine hospitality, and an exceptional guest experience are central to the operation.

The ideal candidate will bring strong luxury restaurant leadership experience, with particular emphasis on outdoor and beachfront dining operations. Experience leading waterfront, poolside, terrace, patio, or other open-air resort venues is highly desirable, along with an understanding of the unique operational demands and service expectations of these environments.

Forbes Four-Star or Five-Star experience is highly preferred and will be a key consideration for this search.

The Opportunity

The Restaurant General Manager will oversee the complete front-of-house operation, with responsibility for service execution, team development, guest satisfaction, financial performance, and the continued elevation of the restaurant experience.

This leader will:

• Lead daily restaurant operations while consistently delivering Forbes-level service standards
• Maintain a highly visible, engaging presence on the dining floor
• Create a personalized guest experience that feels polished, intuitive, and genuinely welcoming
• Manage the operational complexities associated with a significant outdoor dining environment
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing front-of-house team
• Build a culture of accountability, recognition, professionalism, and teamwork
• Partner closely with culinary and beverage leadership to ensure seamless execution
• Oversee revenues, expenses, payroll, labor, scheduling, and operating costs
• Analyze financial performance and make informed operational adjustments
• Establish and maintain operating procedures supporting consistency, safety, and service excellence
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns with urgency, discretion, and genuine care
• Maintain exceptional standards during high-volume resort periods, holidays, and special events
• Continuously evaluate the guest journey and identify opportunities to further elevate the experience

The Ideal Background

• Previous restaurant leadership experience within a Forbes-rated luxury hotel required

• Ability to remain composed, decisive, and solutions-oriented in a high-expectation environment
