PDQ, People Dedicated to Quality, is hiring for an Operating Director / General Manager. You will oversee all restaurant managers and both front and heart of the house teams, driving guest satisfaction, quality, and efficiency.

The role requires proven leadership, and a focus on meeting PDQ standards and financial goals. You will guide scheduling, training, and team development while maintaining a high standard of hospitality in a fast casual setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a restaurant Operating Director or General Manager.
• Strong coaching, training, customer service, organization and planning skills.
• Proven ability to achieve sales and profit goals and read P&L statements.

Responsibilities

• Lead front and heart of the house operations in the restaurant.
• Oversee product ordering, receiving, and scheduling of shifts.
• Manage restaurant managers and ensure PDQ standards are met.
• Read and positively impact P&L statements and drive sales growth.
• Foster a diverse, safe, harassment-free team culture and coach staff.

• Operating Director / General Manager

Successful Operating Directors will have 2+ years’ experience in a restaurant setting, plus strong skills in the areas of coaching and training, customer service, organization and planning, financial analysis and the ability to accomplish the sales and profit goals.

A PDQ Operating Director:

• Has excellent people and Guest service skills
• Is a proven Leader
• Is fully proficient in all aspects of the kitchen.
• Manages both Front and Heart of the House operations.
• Relentlessly focuses on quality and making sure we meet or exceed our standards.
• Is responsible for all product ordering and receiving.
• Is responsible for scheduling and running efficient shifts of Team Members
• Is able to read, interpret and positively impact P&L statements.
• Operates the business in accordance with strict PDQ standards.
• Cultivates a diverse culture for our Team Members where they are safe, secure and free from harassment
• Coaches and teaches our Team Members while recognizing and rewarding performance as well as effort.
