Job summary

Fin & Crab in Charleston, SC is seeking an energetic Restaurant Floor Manager to lead our front-of-house team. This role drives a memorable dining experience and ensures smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise servers, hosts, and bussers; manage reservations and table flow; handle guest concerns; and collaborate with back-of-house to uphold health and hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant management or supervisory experience in a full-service environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced service with composure.
• Knowledge of POS systems and basic restaurant operations.
• Food Handler or ServSafe certification preferred.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Guest-first mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure a seamless and high-quality guest experience
• Supervise, coach, and motivate floor staff including servers, hosts, and bussers
• Manage table flow, reservations, and seating to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction
• Handle guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally
• Coordinate communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams during service
• Monitor staff performance and conduct pre-shift meetings and training
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Assist with scheduling, inventory, and opening/closing procedures
