Job summary

Pack's Tavern, located in Asheville, NC, is seeking a Restaurant Floor Manager who will lead daily floor operations, guide a high-performing team, and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The role focuses on on-floor leadership, guest satisfaction, and cohesive collaboration with the kitchen and BOH.

The ideal candidate has restaurant management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

About the Role

As a Restaurant Floor Manager, you will play an active, hands-on role in daily operations, including:

• Leading the floor and ensuring smooth, efficient service
• Supporting guests and team members with a positive, solutions-focused approach
• Expediting food and maintaining strong communication with the kitchen
• Monitoring service flow and overall guest satisfaction
• Training, coaching, and developing FOH staff
• Managing inventory and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
• Representing Pack's Tavern with professionalism and pride

What We're Looking For

• Previous restaurant management experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
• Ability to stay calm and decisive under pressure
• Solid understanding of restaurant operations and service standards
• Comfortable learning and using POS systems
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and assist with light lifting as needed

We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, dependable, and leads by example-someone who can step in, take ownership, and support both FOH and BOH as one team.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting salary: $60,000+ (DOE)
• Paid vacation: 2 weeks after 1 year
• Paid vacation: 3 weeks after 3 years
• Paid vacation: 4 weeks after 5 years
