Job summary

Red Robin is seeking a Senior Restaurant Accountant to manage journal entries, close cycles, and balance sheet reconciliations for a multi-site operation in a fast-paced environment.

You will ensure US GAAP compliance, strengthen internal controls, and support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to requests. The role requires strong Excel skills and experience with Oracle Fusion and Blackline, with CPA candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a public company environment.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely journal entries for close cycles.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform variance analysis on assigned accounts.
• Maintain SOX controls documentation and support audits.
• Prepare schedules for internal and external auditors.
• Assist in process improvements and cross-training.
