Job summary

Team JCK is seeking a Senior Accountant to own accounting across the cycle, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. You’ll support store-level profitability analysis, budgeting, and audits, collaborating with Operations and Payroll teams to drive accuracy and efficiency.

You’ll bring 3+ years of accounting experience, solid US GAAP knowledge, and strong Excel/ERP skills to strengthen internal controls and close processes in a growing multi-brand restaurant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 3+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience required.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with general ledger, reconciliations, journal entries, financial statements, and month-end close.
• Strong Excel and accounting/ERP system skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
• Experience with multi-unit or restaurant accounting, inventory, fixed assets, payroll accounting, budgeting/forecasting, ERP systems, or external audit support is a definite plus.

Responsibilities

• General ledger accounting and month-end/year-end close, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Inventory and fixed asset accounting.
• Payroll accounting and reconciliations.
• Financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Store-level sales, labor, food cost, and profitability analysis.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Audit support, internal controls, and GAAP compliance.
• SOPs, process improvement, and automation.
• Cross-functional partnership with Operations, Payroll, AP, Finance, and other teams.
