Job summary

The Wendy's Company in Chicago, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform daily repairs and preventative maintenance on restaurant equipment and property. You will also provide ongoing training on equipment operation and PM at the restaurant level.

This role requires on-call rotations, potential overtime, and handling extreme weather conditions, with a pay range of $20.67 - $40.38 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years’ maintenance/repair experience.
• EPA Certification Type I and II required.
• Lift up to 50 lbs, climb a 30 ft ladder, work in extreme climates.
• Technical knowledge of electrical repair, carpentry and plumbing.
• HVAC and refrigeration knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Reactive Maintenance – Performs demand repairs on restaurant equipment and property as identified through work orders.
• Preventative Maintenance – Performs preventative maintenance per PM work orders.
• Proper utilization of My TechConnect – Completes work orders on time and maintains inventories.
• Reports equipment condition to assist with capital planning.
