Job summary

Buffalo Wild Wings is seeking a leader to drive guest experiences at our Yuba City location. You will lead and inspire a team, coach and develop staff, and own execution across operations—from guest engagement to quality, speed, and accuracy.

Bring a strong background in restaurant operations, food safety, and responsible alcohol service. High-energy, with leadership experience and a passion for building culture and leading by example.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of restaurant operations, food safety, and responsible alcohol service.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; restaurant and/or leadership experience preferred.
• Team-first mindset; passion for developing people, building culture, and leading by example.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, orient, train, and develop department team members, maintaining staffing levels per period business reviews.
• Administer WCT (Worldwide Critical Training), maintain department training certification, and schedule WCT sessions.
• Develop and implement incentive programs, contests, and performance feedback.
• Assist the General Manager with coaching other managers on performance management procedures.
• Oversee MIT (Management Improvement Training) during training weeks and coordinate training schedules.
• Manage departmental financials: food cost, labor, inventory, and variance against budget.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, responsible alcohol service (RAS), health board regulations, and company policies.
• Handle guest complaint program, respond to food quality issues, and utilize the Guest Experience Management (GEM) system.
• Monitor and maintain equipment, report repairs, and follow up on maintenance requests.
• Coordinate with other Department Managers to share best practices and ensure service standards across the restaurant.
