Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a Restaurant Cook to plan, prepare, and provide hot production for menus in restaurants and banquets. You will collaborate with the kitchen team to uphold food quality, presentation, and service standards.

The role suits cooks with a passion for quality, varied cooking methods, and strong teamwork, in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Proven cooking experience in line or prep roles.
• Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients and equipment.
• Able to work quickly with accuracy and consistency.
• Familiar with industry best practices and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations for service.
• Prepare food for service including chopping, butchering, sauces.
• Cook items with the kitchen team, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Follow chef instructions and adapt as required.
• Maintain high pace with timely service.
• Clean stations and manage leftovers appropriately.
• Maintain storage and sanitation compliance.
• Uphold professional conduct with coworkers and guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
