Job Summary

The Restaurant Cook oversees the daily operation of the grill and food prep in the restaurant. Responsibilities include proper food preparation, handling, and storage. The role also involves providing excellent customer service and being a strong team player to our franchise partner.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time, dressed in a clean, complete proper uniform.
• Greet all customers with a smile and a verbal greeting: "Good Morning" or "Welcome to Huddle House."
• Prepare food promptly once the order is received.
• Complete the position checklist while stocking and preparing the unit for the next shift.
• Report any concerns immediately to the manager, especially safety issues and customer service complaints.
• Know the menu and daily features, ensuring they are cooked and presented correctly.
• Follow the Huddle House steps of service to maximize shift sales.
• Adhere to all safety, food handling, cash security, and restaurant policies.
• Perform all prepping and cleaning duties as assigned or detailed by the supervisor.
• Control food costs by managing waste and portion sizes.

Qualifications
