Job Summary

The Restaurant Cook oversees daily operations of the grill and food prep, ensuring proper food handling, preparation, and storage. Providing excellent customer service and being a strong team player are essential.

Responsibilities

• Report on time in proper uniform
• Greet customers warmly
• Prepare food promptly upon order
• Complete shift checklist, stock, and prep for next shift
• Report safety or customer concerns immediately
• Know menu items and daily features, ensure correct cooking and presentation
• Follow steps of service to maximize sales
• Adhere to safety, food handling, cash security, and restaurant policies
• Perform prepping and cleaning duties as assigned
• Control food costs through waste and portion management
