Job summary

Fox Restaurant Concepts is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee restaurant project phases from schedules and budgets to documentation and administration. This boots-on-the-ground role directly supervises General Contractors and subcontractors to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.

You will coordinate with architects, design, engineering and vendors, support design and operations teams, and drive structured project processes with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years on-site construction experience in restaurant or hospitality.
• 2+ years as Construction Project Manager.
• Tenant coordination or Owner's Representative experience preferred.
• Knowledge of industry practices, materials, means and methods.
• Knowledge of project management software.
• Sustainable building practices a plus.
• Ability to develop and maintain specifications.
• Working knowledge of lighting.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Extensive travel required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Architects, Interior Design, Food Service, Engineering Consultants, Signage Vendor and other vendors during construction.
• Interact with design, construction, facilities and operations departments.
• Establish project processes and procedures with in-house and external teams.
• Assist in site assessment including building type, age, utilities and ADA.
• Coordinate with city/county and utility companies.
• Review deal terms (landlord/tenant work) and space/site planning.
• Review documents (concept, 100% CD/Permit, graphics) for conformance with guidelines.
• Attend OACs and manage project budget, schedule, materials, procurements and quality controls.
• Assist in managing punch lists; issue and track changes (design/engineering and municipal).
