Job summary

CAVA is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee new restaurant buildouts from pre-lease through close-out. You will collaborate with Real Estate, Design, Operations and external partners to deliver projects on time and within budget, while upholding CAVA standards.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in engineering/construction, 5+ years in construction or PM (2+ years multi-site retail/restaurant builds), and proficiency with Procore or similar tools. US travel ~50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 5+ years in construction or PM, incl. 2+ years in multi-site retail/restaurant buildouts.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, lease terms, and other technical documents.
• Proven experience managing general contractors, vendors, and consultants across multiple projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Sitefolio, PlanGrid, or Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all phases of construction projects from pre-lease to close-out for new locations and facilities.
• Collaborate with Real Estate and Design during site evaluation, validating scope and cost projections.
• Develop and manage project budgets, updating costs with stakeholders.
• Manage schedules and review design documents for constructability and schedule impact.
• Oversee permitting, bid process, and contract administration.
• Review, negotiate, and administer contractor and vendor contracts for projects.
• Conduct site visits and lead progress meetings to maintain quality, brand, and schedule.
• Coordinate pre-opening activities with Operations and Marketing.
