CAVA is seeking a Construction Manager to lead new restaurant buildouts from site evaluation to close-out, collaborating with Real Estate, Design, Operations, and external partners. You will manage budgets, schedules, and contractor relationships to ensure on-time, on-budget openings that meet CAVA standards.

The role requires 5 years of construction/project management experience, ability to read drawings, and frequent travel.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in construction or project management.
• Experience overseeing multi-site retail or restaurant buildouts (2+ years).
• Proficiency with construction documentation and lease terms.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate all phases of construction projects from pre-lease through close-out for new restaurant locations and production facilities.
• Collaborate with Real Estate and Design during site evaluation and provide input on feasibility and cost projections.
• Develop and manage project budgets, update costs, and validate financial projections.
• Prepare schedules and timelines for review and approval by leadership.
• Review design documents for constructability and impact on cost/schedule; provide feedback to teams.
• Oversee permitting with expediters, architects, and landlords to ensure timely approvals.
• Manage general contractor bid process, RFPs, bid reviews, and contract negotiations.
• Review, negotiate, and administer contractor and vendor contracts for projects.
• Ensure OSI items are priced and procured; manage vendors for project needs.
• Conduct regular site visits, lead progress meetings, resolve day-to-day issues.
• Coordinate with Operations/Marketing on pre-opening activities and turnovers to Ops.
• Address post-occupancy issues with Facilities and manage warranty closes.
• Maintain project records, entitlements, as-builts, and permits.
