Responsibilities

The Restaurant Clerk position is a key contact point for our customers’ service experience. Responsibilities include assisting with the preparation of El Super grilled and hot food items, following precise company standards for preparation and presentation, maintaining a clean and inviting restaurant, and supporting the overall store operations.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish and English; interact with general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, price codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Desired Skills

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate.

Required Certifications

• Food Handler Card or equivalent certification (mandatory for all food preparation, handling, and serving positions).

Work Schedule
