Job summary

Fiesta Mart in Houston is seeking a Restaurant Clerk to join our Wayside location. You will assist with the preparation of El Super grilled and hot foods, following our company standards for presentation and quality, and help maintain a clean, welcoming dining area.

Candidates should be able to work a variety of hours including nights and weekends. Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to food handling and preparation.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English.
• Lift up to 60 pounds occasionally.
• Food Handler Card or equivalent certification required.

Candidates should possess the ability to:

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
