Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia is hiring a Restaurant Cashier to deliver friendly, accurate, and efficient service at the front of the dining area. You will operate the cash register, greet guests, and manage seating flow while maintaining cleanliness and hospitality standards.

The role requires basic math, phone etiquette, and awareness of safety/health guidelines. Flexibility with shifts is expected in a busy casino environment.

Qualifications

• Restaurant experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
• License required per Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.
• Ability to handle fast-paced, interruptive environments.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Responsible for operating cash register to cash out guests.
• Answering phone, greeting customers, and keeping track of seat availability in restaurants.
• Responsible for assisting with bussing and cleaning tables.
• Ability to perform assigned duties in an interruptive environment under frequent time pressures.
• Work to ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• One (1) year of restaurant experience preferred.
• Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule. May require extended hours and work week from time to time.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to:
  • Stand and walk continually throughout a scheduled shift.
  • Bend, stoop and reach.
  • Carry trash bags weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Use of stairs and elevators

Working Conditions:

• 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.
• Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
• You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.

Please note that this is a union position, and individuals in this role may be required to pay applicable union dues and fees.

Please note that this is a union-represented position and scheduling is governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Team Members may be required to participate in shift bids, and shift assignments may change based on operational requirements and Team Member seniority.
