Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland is seeking a Restaurant Cashier to provide a smooth, welcoming dining experience while accurately processing transactions and greeting guests. You will help maintain a clean, organized front-of-house and support seating operations in a high-energy casino restaurant.

The role requires basic math, cash handling, and strong communication. A high school diploma is required, with restaurant experience preferred; flexibility in shifts is essential in our 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• One (1) year of restaurant experience preferred.
• Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule. May require extended hours and work week from time to time.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register to cash out guests.
• Answering phone, greeting customers, and keeping track of seat availability in restaurants.
• Assist with bussing and cleaning tables.
• Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures.
• Work to ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.

Working Conditions

• 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.
• Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
• You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.

Please note that this is a union position, and individuals in this role may be required to pay applicable union dues and fees.

Please note that this is a union-represented position and scheduling is governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Team Members may be required to participate in shift bids, and shift assignments may change based on operational requirements and Team Member seniority.
