Job summary

The Equinox Golf Resort & Spa in Manchester, VT is seeking an energetic hourly food runner to support servers and bartenders in a busy resort dining environment. You will clear tables, reset service stations, and assist with guest requests to ensure exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a restaurant setting preferred, but not required.
• Available and willing to work flexible hours including weekdays and weekends.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Shows enthusiasm for food and beverage and hospitality.
• Ability to prioritise, delegate, and stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support all servers and bartenders with food running needs.
• Clear tables and bring used items to the kitchen for sorting.
• Promptly reset tables to standard.
• Complete additional service staff requests.
• Perform daily side work efficiently and thoroughly.
• Restock service stations with flatware, dishes, glassware, and napkins.
• Wash trays to ensure sanitation and presentation.
• Change depleted beverage syrups and kegs as required.
• Replenish ice bins.
• Be proactive in tasks such as wiping menus, sweeping, cleaning doors.
• Keep guest and work areas clean at all times.
• Check out with manager after shift.
• Practice knowledge of food allergies and safety in prep.
• Professionally handle guest questions and resolve requests.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
