Description

Our busy restaurant is looking for a bartender with a positive attitude who can provide excellent customer service for our patrons to have a great time at our bar. You will be in charge of taking customer orders, mixing a variety of traditional and creative cocktails, making beer and wine recommendations, and keeping the bar area clean and sanitary at all times. This position requires an energetic person with excellent organizational skills and a customer-first attitude. Responsibilities

1. Responsible for inventory, ordering and stocking of all wine, liquor, and beer. Maintains an inventory of glassware and promptly communicates any shortages to management.
2. Mix and deliver drinks to customers including alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties of wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks.
3. Receive payments and settle patron checks and tabs, as well as correctly record daily sales totals in point of sale system.
4. Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed.
5. Properly identify customers' age through identification cards, and serve alcoholic beverages following all applicable federal, state, local, and company rules and regulations.

Qualifications

1. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED).
2. Possesses strong organizational and time management skills.
3. Prior food service industry experience is highly desired.
4. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers.
5. Must have a strong focus on putting the patron first with exceptional customer service experience.

Compensation

$11.79 hourly + Tips
