Minimum requirements:

  • At least 6 months of bartending experience
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Excellent basic math skills
  • Effective and professional communication with team and guests
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, fostering cooperation and teamwork
  • Knowledge of state and federal liquor laws

Desired qualifications:

  • One year of bartending experience
  • Alcohol Service permit

Responsibilities include:

  • Taking beverage orders from servers and guests at the bar
  • Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes and portion control
  • Stocking, preparing, and storing garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure quality
  • Monitoring guests for proper identification
  • Adhering to liquor laws and regulations regarding minors and intoxicated guests
  • Handling cash transactions accurately
  • Cleaning and sterilizing barware and equipment
  • Maintaining cleanliness and attractive display in the bar area
  • Attending team meetings and contributing suggestions for improvement
  • Performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
